FAST RISK DISCLOSURE NOTICE
Effective Date: May 5, 2026 Last Updated: May 5, 2026
Important — Read Before Using Fast
This Risk Disclosure Notice ("Notice") describes material risks associated with using the Fast App (app.fast.xyz), the Fast marketplace (shop.fast.xyz), and the FastSet payment and settlement network (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Pi Squared Inc. ("Company," "we," "us").
This Notice is incorporated into and forms part of the Fast Terms of Service. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these risks.
This Notice does not disclose every possible risk. You should use the Services only if you understand how they work and are comfortable with the risks described here.
1. fastUSD is Not a Bank Deposit
fastUSD balances are prepaid credits on the Company's books. They are not:
- Insured by the FDIC, NCUA, or any government deposit insurance program
- Deposits at a bank or financial institution
- Protected by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC)
- Legal tender or a government-issued currency
- A guarantee of value
If Pi Squared Inc. becomes insolvent or ceases operations, you may lose some or all of your fastUSD balance. There is no government guarantee or insurance backstop.
2. No Off-Ramp at Launch
At the time of launch, fastUSD cannot be redeemed for fiat currency (USD or other) or withdrawn to external cryptocurrency networks. fastUSD can currently only be used within the Fast ecosystem — for example, to make purchases at shop.fast.xyz or to transfer to other Fast users.
The Company intends to introduce off-ramp (withdrawal) functionality in the future but is under no obligation to do so and makes no guarantee as to timing.
Do not fund your Fast account with more money than you are prepared to spend within the Fast ecosystem.
3. Funding Transactions Are Not Refundable
When you fund your fastUSD balance using a credit card, debit card, or ACH bank transfer:
- The transaction is processed by Stripe, Inc. on behalf of the Company.
- Once credited to your account, fastUSD balances cannot be converted back to fiat currency.
- You agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for funding transactions you authorized.
- If a chargeback or reversal is initiated, the Company will debit your account for the corresponding amount, including any fees assessed by Stripe or your bank.
ACH transfers may take 3–5 business days to settle. Card transactions may be subject to Stripe's holds and verification procedures.
4. Funding Limits
Card (credit or debit) funding is subject to a $100 per transaction limit. Additional limits may apply based on your account status, payment method, and applicable law. ACH and other funding methods may have different limits. The Company may change limits at any time.
5. Technology Risk
The Services rely on software, cryptography, and blockchain infrastructure that may contain vulnerabilities. Specific risks include:
- Smart contract bugs or exploits that could result in loss of funds
- Passkey loss or device failure — if you lose access to all registered passkeys, the Company cannot recover your account
- Network outages, latency, or degraded performance that could delay or prevent transactions
- Third-party infrastructure failures (hosting providers, Stripe, swap providers, Cloudflare)
- Software updates that change functionality
- Zero-day exploits or attacks not yet discovered at the time of launch
The Company applies security best practices but cannot guarantee the absence of vulnerabilities.
6. Irreversibility of Transactions
Transactions on blockchain networks are generally irreversible. Once a transaction is broadcast to the underlying network:
- It cannot be reversed, canceled, or modified by the Company
- Sending funds to a wrong address or to a scammer may result in permanent loss
- The Company has no ability to recover on-chain funds sent in error
For fastUSD transactions within the Fast ecosystem, reversal may be possible in limited circumstances at the Company's discretion, but is not guaranteed.
7. Regulatory Risk
The regulatory environment for digital assets, prepaid credits, and payment systems is evolving. Regulatory changes could:
- Require the Company to restrict or terminate Services in certain jurisdictions
- Require additional compliance procedures that affect how you can use the Services
- Result in the Company being required to freeze or forfeit funds in certain circumstances
- Affect the legal status or characterization of fastUSD
The Company complies with applicable law and reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Services to maintain compliance.
8. AI Agent Risk
If you create Agent Wallets and delegate funds or permissions to AI agents:
- The Company does not control, monitor, or guarantee agent behavior
- Agents may make transactions you did not intend, including incorrect amounts or wrong recipients
- You are solely responsible for all actions taken by your agents
- The Company is not liable for losses resulting from agent actions, including misuse of delegated permissions
- Agent capabilities depend on third-party AI systems that may have their own limitations, bugs, or failure modes
Only delegate funds and permissions to agents you trust and within amounts you are prepared to lose.
9. Third-Party Risk
The Services integrate with third-party providers whose failures, changes, or decisions could affect your experience:
- Stripe: Payment processing delays, holds, account flags, or termination of service could prevent you from funding your account
- Swap providers: Cryptocurrency on-ramp pricing, availability, and execution are not controlled by the Company
- Merchants (shop.fast.xyz): The Company does not control merchant inventory, pricing, shipping, or product quality. Disputes are subject to individual merchant policies
- Zinc (fulfillment partner): For adapter-fulfilled orders, Zinc places purchases with upstream merchants on your behalf. Zinc's availability, policies, and decisions are outside the Company's control. If Zinc is unable to fulfill an order, the Company will make reasonable efforts to reverse the associated fastUSD deduction
- Infrastructure providers: Outages at hosting or CDN providers could cause Service unavailability
10. No Investment Advice
Nothing in the Services or these documents constitutes financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. The Company does not recommend that you fund your account with any particular amount or that fastUSD is suitable for any particular purpose.
Consult qualified professionals before making financial decisions.
